The Language Center of the National University of Colombia - Medellín Campus bases its educational program on pedagogical and methodological principles that prioritize the local context in which the needs of the students are taken into account, as well as the characteristics, the mission and the vision of the University, and the demands of the globalized world.

The pedagogical and methodological principles of the programs offered by the Language Center of the National University of Colombia - Medellín Campus are based on a socio-cultural and cognitive approach to foreign language learning. Its methodology is also task and project based through thematic content, supporting its reading and writing practices on an instruction guided by the development of textual genres.
