The Language Center offers to the academic community of the National University, and to the general public, the possibility of acquiring strong skills in foreign languages with the highest standards of quality typical of the National University of Colombia, framed within the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.

The Center is staffed with a faculty of 38 highly qualified instructors with university training, some of them native-speakers of the language they teach, and most of them with international experience.  The Language Center attends to an average of 5,000 students in the Foreign Language Training program, and 1,000 students per year in the Extension Courses program.
