Advantages of Studying ELE at the National University
- The Language Center has twenty years of experience teaching foreign languages. It serves an average of 5,000 students per year in the Foreign Language Training Program and 1,000 students annually in the Extension Courses Program.
- We are staffed with a faculty of 38 highly qualified instructors with university training, most of them native Spanish-speakers.
- Our professors of the Spanish Program for Foreigners (ELE) have solid training and experience in the teaching of the Spanish language.
- Our courses are certified by the National University of Colombia and are framed according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).
- We offer extracurricular conversation clubs, workshops and individualized tutoring sessions to complement the program.
- We guarantee classrooms equipped with the latest information and communication technologies.
- Our cutting-edge methodologies allow, through communication strategies, the use of the target language from the first class.
- We evaluate both the oral and written performance of the students.
- Our students have access to a Resource Center equipped with modern information and communication technologies as well as a library of reading and audio-visual material.
- The students of the Spanish Program for Foreigners will be able to attend numerous cultural, sport and scientific activities programmed by the University.
- The Inter-institutional Relations Office (ORI) will offer assistance and support to the foreign students of the courses of ELE with logistical matters related to their lodging in the city.
