- Payment without a bank account: Payment with coupons
You can pay your course without a bank account through the option Payment with coupons by following the steps below:
- Go to: www.pagovirtual.unal.edu.co
- Choose: Ver Catálogo de Servicios Sede Medellín – Go to SERVICIOS DE EXTENSIÓN – CENTRO DE IDIOMAS – Click on Cursos Centro de Idiomas – fill out the form and click on continue.
- Choose the option Pago con Cupón en Banco.
- Once the coupon is generated, go to a Bancolombia bank office to make your payment.
- Hand the receipt over at the Language Center (building 46, office 201) or send it to the e-mail

Requirements
Class schedules are subjected to course programming and their capacity. The Language Center of the Universidad Nacional - Medellin Campus reserves the right to cancel the courses when the minimum number of students required is not reached.
In case of not reaching the minimum of students required, 100% of the payment will be refunded to the users or the possibility to enroll in another course of their preference will be offered.
At the moment of enrollment, it is the student’s responsibility to inform if they present any situation that limits their mobility inside the campus.

Important:
All the students, senior and new, must carry out the registration process during the dates established before the beginning of the course.
Passing a level does not automatically enroll the student in the following course.
Refunds or seat reservations
Without any exception, a request for a seat reservation or for money refund is only accepted within the following dates:
- For semester courses:

Until the first class (for Saturdays classes)
Until the second class (for weekdays classes)
- For intensive courses: Until the second class.
NB: Seat reservations are only valid for one academic semester.
To get a refund, the following procedure must be followed:
- Hand over the original payment receipt to the Language Center.
- Fill out the Refund Request Form.
- Fill out the Third-party creation and update format.
- Hand over a copy of your ID card enlarged to 150%.
It must be considered that the abovementioned procedure has a response time of around 45 working days once the above steps are completed.
The refund process is performed only once a month. Therefore, for a quicker response, the user must hand over the required documentation in the least possible time; otherwise, the process is postponed until the following month.
Placements
People interested in taking the placement examination can register by phone or in person at the secretary's office of the Language Center. In addition, they must make the corresponding payment.
On examination day, the students registered must hand over the payment receipt. Exam takers must show their original ID card with a picture, and bring a pencil and an eraser for the test.
The results of this examination are valid for six (6) months from the date it is taken.
Validity of the Courses
The student who interrupts courses for two semesters or more must take the placement examination to start again.
It is not the Language Center policy to repeat the levels that have already been passed, except when the students interrupt their courses for more than a year and if the placement examination results determine they must repeat the level already passed.
Criteria for student’s promotion
Students pass a level with a minimum grade of 3.0, and they fail it with a grade of 2.9 or less; or when they have not attended 20% of the programmed class hours. Students who fail must repeat the level failed as many times as needed.
Course records and certificates
Students can request their passing records of any of the levels they have successfully completed in the Language Center of the Universidad Nacional de Colombia- Medellin Campus. In addition, the students who pass the nine levels composing our program receive a certificate stating the number of levels completed their duration and the date of completion of the program.

Rights
- Know the contents, methodology, evaluation system and criteria of promotion of the program from the first class.
- Receive the classes in the foreign language they enrolled.
- Know the results of the assessed activities within the established periods.
- Use the resources offered by the Language Center according to the established regulations for the use of resources.
- Receive timely response to their academic, administrative and disciplinary requests.
- Participate in all the academic and cultural activities planned by the Language Center of the Campus.
Duties
- Following the regulations established by the Medellin Campus and by the Language Center for the program.
- Carrying out the registration process and paying the student registration fee within the dates scheduled and according to the established guidelines.
- Carrying out the assigned activities and devoting the time needed according to the academic work plan.
- Using the student membership card to identify themselves when requesting a service from the Resources Center.
- Duly informing their teachers about any issue that prevents them to continue attending the course.
